The roster
What it does
unslop is a skill for Claude that turns vibecoded, AI-looking UI into a designed interface with its own character. It finds the slop first, the purple gradients, glows, emoji labels, shouty copy and uneven spacing, then sets a direction from your product and fixes the screen pass by pass like a designer doing a redline review.
The repo holds one skill, built for Claude Code and installed by copying its folder into your skills directory. It works in whatever the screen is built with, like Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte, Tailwind or plain HTML and CSS, on dashboards, apps and landing pages, and on a live site when all you have is a link. Two vibecoded example screens are included to try it on.
It grew out of the Unslopping series on X by Damir Sokolovsky and is licensed CC BY 4.0, so you can use and change it, including commercially, as long as you credit him.
When to use it
- You built a UI with an AI agent and it looks generated
unslop audits the screen, proposes a direction from your product, and redesigns it in your own stack without changing what it does.
- You want to show a redesign on social media
unslop can render a short square video of the screen unslopping itself, with redlines on each fix, ready to post.
Common questions
How do I install unslop?
Clone the repo and copy skills/unslop into ~/.claude/skills, or into .claude/skills inside one project. Then type /unslop with what you want, or ask in your own words and Claude picks the skill up.
Is unslop free to use?
Yes. unslop is licensed CC BY 4.0, so you can use, change and share it, including commercially, as long as you credit Damir Sokolovsky and link back to the repository.
What does unslop need besides Claude?
Nothing for the redesign itself. The story video needs Playwright and ffmpeg, and generated hero scenes need an image service like fal, Replicate, OpenAI images or Higgsfield, which it asks about before every paid generation.
