These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Surf Skills, the website at surfskills.surf and the related products and services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Surf Skills ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This is a template adapted for a small independent product and is provided for transparency, not as legal advice.
1. Account terms
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. We can't and won't be liable for loss or damage from your failure to keep your credentials safe.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
2. The Service
Surf Skills provides a library of AI agent "skills" that you can install into compatible AI tools. Skills are provided on an as-is basis. You are responsible for reviewing any output a skill produces before relying on it, and for your use of that output.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to help others:
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the skills except as expressly allowed;
- abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material;
- scrape or bulk-download the Service in a way that degrades it for others.
4. Content and ownership
We retain all rights to the Service, the Surf Skills brand, and the skill templates we publish. You retain rights to the content and outputs you create using a skill. You are responsible for ensuring your use of skills and their outputs does not infringe the rights of others.
5. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SKILL OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SURF SKILLS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
