Describe a mood, a subject or just a phrase, and get back an original generative artwork as a single HTML file that opens in any browser. You also get a short manifesto for the art movement behind it, saved as a markdown file, so the piece arrives with its own idea and not just pixels.
First it names a movement in one or two words and writes a 4 to 6 paragraph philosophy about its noise fields, particles, forces or recursive forms. Then it builds that philosophy as a seeded p5.js sketch inside a ready-made viewer with a sidebar: a seed display with Prev, Next, Random and jump-to-seed controls, sliders for the parameters this piece actually needs, optional color pickers, and Regenerate, Reset and Download PNG buttons.
Every seed is reproducible, so the same number always draws the same image and you can browse variations like prints pulled from one plate. Your request shows up as a quiet reference inside the algorithm rather than a literal picture, and the work is original instead of a copy of an existing artist's style.
Give it a theme and get an original p5.js piece driven by noise, particles, flow fields or recursion, built from a written philosophy instead of a preset pattern.
Step through seeds with Prev, Next and Random or jump to any number, and the same seed always gives you back the exact same image.
Everything sits in one self-contained HTML file with p5.js loaded from a CDN, so it runs in a claude.ai artifact or any browser with no setup.
Sliders for counts, scales, speeds and thresholds update the art live, Reset brings back the defaults, and Download PNG saves the frame you like.
Two things. Algorithmic Art writes a markdown manifesto for a named generative art movement, then a single HTML viewer that runs the p5.js piece with seed navigation, parameter sliders, optional color pickers, and Regenerate, Reset and Download PNG buttons.
No. Algorithmic Art makes one self-contained HTML file that loads p5.js from a public CDN and keeps all the code inline. Open it in any browser or as a claude.ai artifact and it runs, with no server, build step or account.
No. Algorithmic Art is told to make original work rather than copy existing artists. It invents its own movement and philosophy for each request, and your theme appears as a subtle reference inside the algorithm, not as a literal picture.
Yes. Every piece is seeded, so the same seed number always produces the identical output. Note the seed you like, type it into the jump field, and the viewer draws that exact variation again, ready to download as a PNG.
